At the early begining, Giovanni Panerai earned a reputation as a very skilled watch maker. Leon Francesco Panerai, Giovanni Panerai's son, took over the small workshop upon the death of his father and continued on the same path, to build the most precise and beautiful watches of his day. The company was eventually renamed: Officine Panerai. Many of the Panerai watch designs of Officine Panerai today are influenced and inspired by this unique history and partnership. Panerai watches are still made to the exacting standards of earlier times. In 1934, continuing in the Panerai tradition, Giuseppe and Maria took over after the death of their father Guido Panerai. Giuseppe oversaw the military equipment division,Cartier bracelet gold, while his sister, Maria Panerai, dedicated her life to the Panerai watch shop. Panerai watches, despite their durability and precision, were not sold to the general public. In fact, much of the technology developed was a guarded secret of the Italian Navy. These watches were only produced in small quantities and only made to order, typically only 30 at a time. The Panerai prosperity is mainly due to a working knowledge that styles are constantly evolving and adapting to times, tastes and the insatiable desire for something new.

They were reflections of how people spoke at that point in time, as far as outside observers could tell. Languages dont usually come into existence when someone invents the rules for them. Instead, languages evolve and change over time as speakers make modifications or respond to new needs. However, those early nineteenth century records remained in place as the supposed official version of Malagasy. Children learned the old form of grammar in school, even as they spoke a somewhat different version of the language at home. For Graeber, learning to speak the version of Malagasy people actually understood in conversation was a challenge. Native speakers he hired would instruct him on the nineteenth century grammatical principles, then turn and speak to each other in a whole other fashion. When asked why they couldnt teach him the version of the language they spoke, Graebers Malagasy teachers responded that they were just using slang. Asked why no one seemed to speak the official version, they said people were too lazy. Graeber writes, Clearly the problem was that the entire population had failed to memorize their lessons properly. But what they were actually denying was the legitimacy of collective creativity, the free play of the system.

Hens eat a tremendous amount of food daily, and in fact, the feed to raise the animals comprises about 75% of the total cost of production. And what do you think is in this food the farmers fed to the free range chicken?Grains!Mainly a lot of corn and soy. Its these grains that are destroying the nutritional profile of the egg. In this example, its organic corn and soy and other grains, but its all grains nonetheless. The problem with this is that chickens arent vegetarians. Theyre omnivores. They to eat bugs and other insects, and thats always going to be their preferred food of choice. In fact, when you see vegetarian fed on labels, thats actually not a good thing, even if its certified organic. Vegetarian fed basically means GRAIN fed!Its another marketing gimmick the industry uses to deceive customers looking to make the right choice. If you see vegetarian fed, that instantly screams confined, factory farm operation.
